This book is about the human need
for attachment: to be truly seen, touched, felt, sensed,
nourished, valued, celebrated, and loved to the very
core of one's being, beyond mere appearances.
Included in the book are two versions
of the same theme: the search for the true self. The
first version, "A Woman's Reflection", is an
essay addressed to adult women. The second, "The
Enchanted Mirror", is a child's fairy tale with
Serena, the child protagonist setting forth on a metaphorical,
fantasy journey. Though Serena is a child, she is really
an ageless, timeless soul in search of its truth and
beauty.
