Turning the Corner on Depression

Greetings All!

Now that we’ve arrived in Spring it’s time to shed the obstacles that impede new growth! One of them is depression.

I’ve heard depression described as “trying to go up a down escalator” — and I find that an apt description. It can feel like you’re putting all your energy into getting unstuck from that dark place, and nothing seems to work. It feels like “it will never change”— but that thought is itself a symptom of depression!

I won’t get clinical with symptoms, causes, or treatments — this is not the place. But, today’s artwork is a visual, creative representation of the turning point when the therapeutic work is about to manifest in the change that has been intended, longed for, and worked on.

It is so beautiful when that manifests! I love to see my clients turn that corner and have many tools and the experience to help that happen. I work with depression as a therapist, and with Brennan Healing in combination.

If you have felt depressed in the past, and have felt it exacerbated by current circumstances, please feel free to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see how working with me can help.

Here’s to turning the corner on all things that have cast a shadow on your life! The colors and brightness may be right around the corner! Keep the Faith❤️. Welcome Spring!

Sincerely, with love,

Gail
