Why Broken Dreams Are a Good Thing

“Gallery of the Broken Dreams”(c) 2009 Gail Lois Jaffe, Gouache on paper

Greetings All

Visiting the gallery of our broken dreams is actually a lot more beneficial than it may sound initially.

It’s important to examine what we once longed for — and may still long for — although attempts to find it have ended in disappointment. Our environment, our experiences, and our relationships, often mirror back to us what our original wounding has deposited deep within us. Barbara Brennan called it “the material mirror”. The purpose of this is to understand and heal the wound so we can contact our Gifts hidden inside the wound.

Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.
— Pema Chodron

If you or someone in your life is ready to access the gifts beneath/within the wound, contact me for a free consultation. I am confident that with my 40 years as a therapist, my training and experience as a Brennan healing Science Practitioner, and my artistic sensitivity — I will guide you, and together, we will uncover what you need to know. We’ve got this!

Here’s to resuscitating old dreams, OR creating new ones!

Happy month, happy thoughts,

Love,
Gail
